Carroll County Fire Investigators now say, a fire last month north of Oak Grove that claimed the life of a 58 year old woman, was an accident.  The Carroll County News reported that Elizabeth Kuhlman was found dead on the kitchen floor, a victim of smoke inhalation.  The sheriff’s department says the initial call came in December 15th as a structure fire with a woman on oxygen inside.  Several firefighters and emergency personnel responded. Authorities say the fire appeared to have started in a back bedroom, and the fire scene was consistent with an accidental fire. No one else was home at the time. The house on Highway 21, between Oak Grove and Blue Eye sustained substantial damage.
