A Harrison woman is to be sentenced today in Taney County for her guilty plea to charges in connection with a Powersite home invasion in June of last year.

Twenty-one year old Courtney Simpson was taken into custody while in the company of 24-year-old Danny Waggoner, who is also due in court today for a hearing.  Waggoner and Simpson allegedly stole a truck in Harrison, drove it into Taney County and broke into a home in Powersite.

Simpson pleaded guilty in September to charges of first degree burglary and tampering.  Waggoner faces similar charges, in addition to armed criminal action.  He was arrested in South Dakota in September after walking out of a Springfield hospital following treatment for a gunshot wound suffered during the home invasion.
