Country music singer Jo Dee Messina is headlining a concert to raise money for the local chapter of the American Red Cross. The April 12th concert will be at the O’Reilly Family Event Center on the campus of Drury University in Springfield. The show starts at 7:30 that night, with tickets available, for either 25 or 35 dollars depending on the seat location. The Red Cross says tickets can be purchased at the Event Center at 900 North Benton Avenue. A news release from the Red Cross says the money raised at the concert will help fund current programs as well as any future disasters the organization is called in to help with. The Red Cross helped countless victims of the Branson and Hollister area flood last spring, and the deadlyJoplin tornado in May.
