If you haven’t done so already, Missouri residents wanting to vote in next month’s presidential primary have until the end of today to register. For those not registering to vote in person, a registration card must be postmarked today. Voters whose addresses are unchanged don’t need to register again.
Missouri’s primary is more of a public opinion poll for the Republican candidate looking for his party’s nomination to unseat President Obama in the November General Election. That’s because the state’s Republican party has chosen to use a caucus system that starts in March, and will award delegates to the national convention this summer, when the nominee is officially chosen.
