7th District Congressman Billy Long is endorsing former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney for President.  Up til now, the freshman lawmaker from Springfield has been silent on who he would back as a candidate, saying he wanted to see how the campaign progressed. Long is in his first term representing Southwest Missouri, including Stone and Taney Counties. He was elected in the 2010 tea-party movement, to the seat formerly held by Senator Roy Blunt, who also serves as Romney’s Campaign liaison on Capitol Hill.  Romney is the first non-incumbent Republican to win both the Iowa Caucuses and New Hampshire Primary.

"He was elected in the 2010 tea-party movement" And votes with the party 93% of the time.

This is very disappointing. Mit Romney is an absolute joke and 100% politician. He reminds me of an alien robot overlord from "They Live". I hope everyone watches how inhuman he seems when he chats with people after speeches. At least Santorum is firm on his platform's foundations and appears to have a beating heart in his chest when speaking to individuals. Dr Ron Paul or Santorum are the only two candidates that have a true Conservative history. Do your research before voting for a joke like Mit Romney folks, be responsible.

Sadly, Romney won't attract enought Dem party-line voters to beat Obama.

There is an alternative, you might consider voting for Obama. Afterall, you took the money for the bridge over Taneycomo, and a lot of other projects under his administration. Cuss him but take the money! The Taney County way.
