A Branson man is facing felony charges in Taney County after allegedly stabbing his wife during an argument.

Fifty-two year old Harry Menke-Junior is charged with first degree domestic assault causing serious physical injury, armed criminal action and kidnapping.

According to a probable cause statement from Branson police, Menke and his wife argued Wednesday after he returned home.  He allegedly grabbed a steak knife during the argument and threw it at his wife.  The statement also indicates Menke refused to let his wife leave the home.

Menke’s bond is set at 100-thousand dollars.
