The Titanic Museum attraction on Highway 76 is closed until Friday as workers prepare a new gallery opening dedicated to Molly Brown, one of the Titanic’s most popular and colorful passengers.
When the museum re-opens, guests will see personal possessions and rare photographs, as well as costumes Debbie Reynolds wore in the 1964 hit movie musical, the Unsinkable Molly Brown.
2012 is the 100th Anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic in the Atlantic Ocean.
From January 25th through 31st, The Titanic Museum attraction is offering area appreciation days. Local residents can receive special discounts to visit the new gallery and the rest of the attraction. Once re-opened on Friday, The Titanic is open daily from 9 until 4.
