A man from Walnut Shade faces circuit court arraignment next month in Taney County on a charge of attempted enticement of a child.

Forty-eight year old Bruce Wallace was bound over this week after waiving his right to a preliminary hearing.

Wallace allegedly sent 39 sexually suggestive text messages to a 14-year-old boy in July of last year.  According to a probable cause statement forwarded by the prosecuting attorney’s office, Branson police were notified, and several of the messages were exchanged with an officer posing as the boy.

Wallace’s circuit arraignment is scheduled for February 9^th.
