Friday marks the 39th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War. To commemorate the event, the Branson Veterans Task Force is hosting a candlelight ceremony at 1 o’clock that day at the Veterans Memorial Museum on Highway 76.

Tillis says besides lighting memorial candles, Vietnam Veterans in attendance Friday will be offered an opportunity to say a few words about their service and honor those that didn’t make it home from that military conflict.

The Branson Veterans Task Force is hosting a candlelight ceremony Friday afternoon, marking the 39th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War. The 1 o’clock service will be held at the Veterans Memorial Museum on Highway 76.
