Hollister Chamber Moves Forward

The Hollister Area Chamber of Commerce may consider hiring an Executive Director sometime in the future.  But, Board Chairman Todd Aeschliman says for now, the Board of Directors will continue handling day to day operations…

Aeschliman says this is nothing new – board members have handled day to day business in the past, and the result has been greater involvement and better communication. He says members could decide to hire an Executive Director if the needs of the members go beyond what the Board can effectively do.

Aeschliman says there have been occasions in the past for board members to handle the Chamber’s daily business, so this is nothing new.  He says it has turned out to be a positive move for board members, resulting in greater involvement in the business of the chamber beyond monthly meetings, and improved communication among members.
