Do You Look Like Reuben Branson?

The Downtown Branson Main Street Association is looking for Reuben Branson.  The city of Bransonwas named for the man who opened a general store near Forsyth in the 1880s.  The store later became a post office, with its official address listed as Branson, Missouri.  As part of the 100th birthday edition of Plumb Nellie Days in May, organizers are holding a Reuben Branson look-alike contest.  DBMA Events Coordinator Brenda Meadows says Reuben Branson had a beard, and now is the time for potential contestants to grow one…
