Republican Congressman Todd Akin says he raised just over 231-thousand dollars during the last quarter, giving him more than 1-point-1 million dollars in his campaign checkbook.
Former Republican State Treasurer Sarah Steelman has more than 570-thousand dollars on hand, while Republican John Brunner has just under 210-thousand dollars in his campaign coffers. The St. Louis businessman made the largest individual contribution during the reporting period by giving slightly more than a million dollars to his own campaign.
For incumbent Democratic Senator Claire McCaskill – she has 5 million dollars on hand, after raising nearly 1-point-4 million dollars during the last quarter.
