Deputies in Lawrence County say meth lab evidence has turned up at three sites this week.
The sheriff says chemicals and other items used in a meth lab were found Sunday in a dry creek bed by a deputy on patrol. On Monday, a citizen found meth-related items discarded on private property along a county road. And on Tuesday, another citizen reported finding a chemical generator used in the meth crystallization process.
Authorities say trash from a meth lab can be extremely toxic, potentially causing skin burns and breathing problems.
Notify local authorities if you suspect any discarded trash might be a meth lab or the remnants of one.
