A 5-year-old boy was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash Thursday night in Stone County.
The Missouri Highway Patrol reports the child was a passenger in a car driven by 37-year-old Timothy Washington of Crane. Washington was westbound on Highway 160 near Branson just before 9 p.m. when the car ran off the road into a tree.
Washington and another passenger, 47-year-old Jason Essary, also of Crane suffered moderate injuries.
All were taken to a Springfield hospital for treatment of injuries.
According to the report, no one in the car was wearing a seat belt.
