Big Cedar to Buy Long Creek Marina; Report in Springfield Business Journal
 (File Photo) By: Monte Schisler, News Director Big Cedar Lodge is ready to buy the financially troubled Gage’s Long Creek Marina on Table Rock Lake. The Springfield Business Journal is reporting the price tag is 2-point-3 million dollars and the transaction is contingent upon the approval of a federal bankruptcy judge at a hearing next week. The business journal interviewed Justin Gage, the president of the company, for confirmation of the pending sale, but he declined further comment telling a reporter he didn’t want to jeopardize the deal. Court records indicate Gage’s company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization last June. Commerce Bank filed a lien against the company for 1-point-6 million dollars, while the Internal Revenue Service has a claim of almost 3-thousand dollars.
