Brett Family Performs in Germany; Week-Long Festival Resembles Silver Dollar City
 The Brett Family (Submitted Photo) By: Monte Schisler, News Director The Brett Family says Branson is their headquarters, and the world is their stage – evident by looking at the entertainer’s winter schedule. The Bretts just returned from a music festival in Triberg Germany, located in the popular Black Forest region of the country. Tom Brett tells HometownDailyNews.com the festival is one of the largest of its kind in Germany, with over 40-thousand people attending the week long event. Brett says it would remind you of Silver Dollar City: Brett says his 4-member family group has performed overseas 4 out of the last 5 years, calling the German market huge for Branson, especially with the growing Branson Airport making it easier for foreign travelers to fly in and out. Last fall, a German television network made a stop in Branson as part of a feature documentary taped across the United States, interviewing the Mayor and Miss Missouri. =====(2nd Version)====== A popular Branson entertainment group says foreign travel is important to the area, especially visitors from Germany. The Brett Family performs locally at Dick Clark’s American Bandstand Theatre on Highway 76.
