Branson Aldermen to Discuss Old High School

Branson aldermen have another discussion today on the future use of the old high school building on Sixth Street.  A team of architecture and design professionals evaluated the building, recommending that it be rehabilitated for a multi-use mix of tenants, at an estimated price tag of more than 8-million dollars.  However, Planning and Development Director Jim Lawson says there are some possible alternatives…

Lawson says it’s time to refocus on the Thompson Addition, and to resume talking with neighborhood residents about the school.  He expects to receive the final report from the Sustainable Design Assessment Team any day now.
